نحن اللاجئون اليمنيون في إثيوبيا، ممثلين أنفسنا بمصطفى عيدروس اسماعيل ومنير محمد حسن وبعض اللاجئين اليمنيين، نلتمس من سيادتكم التدخل العاجل لإنصافنا من الظلم والمعاملة غير الإنسانية التي نتعرض لها من بعض الموظفين في وكالة الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (RRS) وبمساعدة بعض الأشخاص الذين يمثلون اللاجئين اليمنيين.
رغم مرور أكثر من سنة ونصف على تقديمنا لطلبات الحصول على البطاقات، إلا أننا لم نحصل عليها حتى الآن، مما يعرضنا لضغوطات ومضايقات يومية. نحن نعاني من ظروف صعبة، ونلتمس من سيادتكم النظر في قضيتنا والعمل على حلها في أسرع وقت ممكن.
نود أن نؤكد أن لدينا أدلة تثبت صحة ادعاءاتنا، وقد تعرضنا لتهديدات مباشرة وغير مباشرة من قبل بعض الأشخاص المتورطين في هذه القضية، وقد قمنا بتقديم شكوى وطلب حماية، ولكن لم يتم اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
نطالب بالحماية العاجلة من سيادتكم، ومن المنظمة المتحدة للاجئين (UNHCR) ومكتب المفتش العام في جنيف. نرجو من سيادتكم التوجيه بالتحقيق في هذه القضية وإنصافنا من الظلم الذي نتعرض له، ومساعدتنا في الحصول على حقوقنا كاملة دون أي تأخير أو تعقيدات إدارية.

A Formal Humanitarian Appeal to His Excellency Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of EthiopiaAgencies/Sami Al-ShatibiWe, the Yemeni refugees in Ethiopia, represented by Mustafa Aidarus Ismail, Munir Mohammed Hassan, and other concerned Yemeni refugees, are appealing to Your Excellency for urgent intervention to ensure justice for us against the injustice and inhumane treatment we are subjected to by certain personnel within the Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS) and with the assistance of certain individuals claiming to represent Yemeni refugees.Despite more than a year and a half having passed since we submitted our requests for refugee identification cards, we have yet to receive them. This delay exposes us to daily pressures and harassment. We are enduring difficult circumstances, and we respectfully request Your Excellency to consider our case and work towards its resolution as quickly as possible.We wish to affirm that we possess evidence to substantiate our claims. We have been subjected to direct and indirect threats by some of the individuals involved in this matter. Although we have filed a formal complaint and a request for protection, the necessary actions have not been taken.We urgently demand protection from Your Excellency, from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and from the Inspector General’s Office in Geneva. We implore Your Excellency to direct an investigation into this matter, to grant us justice against the injustice we face, and to assist us in obtaining our full rights without any further delay or administrative complications.Thank you, Your Excellency, for your attention and for your commitment to human rights.
